The book contains over 40 recipes and putting together this section was the fun part. My daughter Jeanne is both the inspiration for this book and the cook; the recipes are a selection of her favourites. Testing and tasting was great, choosing retro props in keeping with the baby boomer theme was my enjoyable job and the days spent cooking and photographing were a weekly highlight. No hairspray, glycerin or other enhancers were used in the photos – we ate everything after the shots were taken.
